The Laurel


The Laurel is the exoteric publication of the Phi Kappa Tau Foundation. Published prior to 1919 as SIDELIGHTS, a journal devoted to topics related to higher education involving college and alumni interests, The Laurel is now published each year under the direction and authority of the Board of Trustees of the Phi Kappa Tau Foundation.

Since the Fall 2009 issue of The Laurel, the magazine has mailed to only the following groups:
  • Undergraduates. You will receive The Laurel from the time you initiate until you enter the Graduate Council.
  • Foundation donors who give at least $50 annually. Give online.
  • Foundation donors who have eclipsed a $2,500 lifetime giving level. Give online.
If you are not included in one of these groups but would like to continue reading the magazine in physical form, please let us know through the Laurel Opt-In Program. If you do fall into one of the above-listed groups, you will continue receiving the magazine in the mail unless you This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
