At the Volunteer Development Institute, Board of Governors volunteers and Domain Directors learn how to function effectively in a chapter setting and work efficiently with undergraduates. This Men of Character Program is held annually each fall reaching 70 volunteers.

A gift to the Volunteer Development Institute Fund directly supports the annual Volunteer Development Institute. The Volunteer Development Institute is designed to provide in-depth training and development for Board of Governors members, House Corporation officers and Domain Directors. It is the top priority of the Foundation to provide direct and immediate support to those attending the program who are most in need. A gift of $180 will provide one full Volunteer Development Institute sponsorship, but gifts of any size are needed.

All donations to the Volunteer Development Institute Fund will be recognized in the Annual Report, and individual donors will be recognized once they enter into one of the Foundations giving societies.
