Membership Orientation

MARK_OF_DISTINCTION_MEMBERSHIP_ORIENTATION_PROMembership Orientation (MO) is a six- to eight-week process designed to familiarize associate members with Phi Kappa Tau. Through hands-on and hazing-free educational sessions, members learn the Fraternity's history and the expectations of membership. Membership Orientation provides structure for building brotherhood in a positive, productive environment. Each week, a piece of the creed is dissected and discussed with associate members to help explain Phi Tau values, the national organization and the local chapter.

The Borradaile Challenge requires each chapter to submit an MO Program for approval once every four years. Chapter MO Program due dates are available on the Dashboard. Also, all chapters and colonies can choose to adopt the Mark of Distinction Membership Orientation Program.
