In addition to the National Constitution, each chapter has a set of chapter bylaws, which are articles pertaining to the inner-workings of the chapter. While the National Constitution supersedes each set of chapter bylaws, chapters are afforded some variation in the way they conduct business on the individual chapter level. To ensure compliance with the National Constitution, each chapter must revise and resubmit its bylaws for approval every four years to the Phi Kappa Tau Executive Offices for approval every four years.
