Campaigns
Giving back to Phi Kappa Tau is one of the finest traditions of our Fraternity. The Phi Kappa Tau Foundation offers several avenues of giving to suit your specific wishes and needs. Donors are encouraged to visit our giving site to explore options.
The Foundation awards more than $300,000 annually to support scholarships, leadership programs and local chapters. Donors who contribute to the Brotherhood Fund and Men of Character programs make this possible through our annual giving campaign.

Our annual giving campaign provides funds that fuel essential Fraternity needs. Your gift will immediately benefit a young brother’s Fraternity experience by making top-notch leadership development programs stronger and making the Foundation’s academic scholarship program possible.

Whether you join the Ewing T. Boles Society or establish a monthly recurring gift or make a onetime contribution, your impact on Phi Kappa Tau is immediate and impactful.

A Cornerstone Endowment is a chapter-specific fund established with the Phi Kappa Tau Foundation utilizing specifically designated charitable gifts from chapter alumni, parents and friends who wish to assure that students from their chapter will always have access to Phi Kappa Tau’s full array of educational and developmental programs.

The Cornerstone Endowment is designed to produce a perpetual source of revenue that ensures students’ opportunities to participate in Phi Kappa Tau’s Men of Character Programs, including Leadership Academy, Presidents Academy, Regional Conferences, Building Men of Character Retreat, and other programs.

For information about Cornerstone Endowments or to find out if your chapter is engaged in one, please contact Foundation Executive Director Tyler Wash, Georgetown ’06.

The Brothers Trust is the Phi Kappa Tau Foundation’s exclusive undergraduate giving society. Membership in the Brothers Trust is awarded to undergraduates who contribute $19.06 or more annually to the Phi Kappa Tau Foundation. The Brothers Trust supports the growth of our colonies—and therefore our brotherhood—by providing resources to support the success of colony members. A gift to the Brothers Trust helps colony members attend Men of Character programming, and support scholarships and colony development initiatives.

Well trained volunteers are crucial to the continued success of Phi Kappa Tau. Few men recognized that importance more than past Chief Executive Officer C. Steve Hartman, Muskingum ’89. In recognition of Steve’s commitment to volunteers, an endowment is being created to support Phi Kappa Tau’s Volunteer Development Institute.

The Volunteer Development Institute provides chapter advisors, Board of Governors members and other key Phi Kappa Tau volunteers with the skills and knowledge necessary to foster growth within chapters and work with today’s young brothers.

You can ensure this program’s continued success by making a contribution in Steve’s honor.
