Bill Kotcher, Michigan State ’88, was recently named Chief Operating Officer of Tioga the nation’s leading supplier for chrome alloy, stainless, low temp and heavy wall; pipe, fittings, flanges and related products servicing the Military, Nuclear, Power Generation, Oil Refining and Gas/Chemical Processing industries.

Before Tioga, he served as Vice President of Superior Supply & Steel (2011-2016), Chief Operating Officer at Nudo Products (2008-2010) and President/Partner at Deutsch-Hamilton LLP/SCC Holdings (2006-2008).  Before entering the private sector, Mr. Kotcher held positions with UGI/AmeriGas (1996-2006) and DuPont/Conoco (1991-1996).

In 2015, Mr. Kotcher was included as one of the top national executives to participate in the Detroit homecoming expat event to help promote economic investment in Detroit and the State of Michigan.  In addition to his civic engagements, Mr. Kotcher currently serves as an Industry Fellow/Adjunct teaching Ethics at the University of Houston Downtown’s MBA program.

From 2012 to 2014, Mr. Kotcher served on the Board of the International Institute of Advance Purchasing and Supply and received the honor of Lifetime Fellow status in 2014. Previously to IIAPS, Kotcher served on the Supply Chain Board of Advisors at St. Johns University in New York. In addition to his Board roles, Mr. Kotcher was an Advisor for the book “The Complete Guide to SalesForce Incentive Compensation”, published in 2006 by AMACOM and holds a U.S. Copyright on his negotiation model called “Multi-Disciplinary Negotiations.”
