Phi Kappa Tau is looking for a communications professional to support the overall communications department with a primary focus on identifying and sharing the organization’s story. Successful candidates have an affinity for writing, are detail oriented and are savvy with technology. Serving on the editorial staff, the communications coordinator will have an integral role in planning and creating The Laurel, Phi Kappa Tau’s magazine.

Founded in 1906 at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Phi Kappa Tau is a national fraternity that is focused on championing a lifelong commitment to brotherhood, learning, ethical leadership and exemplary character.

This position will interface with every department within Phi Kappa Tau’s Executive Offices requiring a high level of collaboration. The communications coordinator will work closely with the director of communications to set measurable goals and identify departmental priorities. A solid ability to work independently is vital. Knowledge and use of proper grammar, punctuation and AP Style is critical.
