“We are delighted to welcome brothers from across the country to Cleveland,” said President Dovilla. “Northeast Ohio boasts the largest concentration of Phi Kappa Tau alumni of any metropolitan area in the nation, yet this is the first time Cleveland will ever have hosted Convention. Coming off the success of the first major party national convention in 80 years, as well as the 2016 NBA and MLB American League championships, we are eager to show off all that Cleveland has to offer.”
Prescribed in the National Constitution, Convention is the Fraternity’s supreme legislative body. On 62 occasions since 1911, Phi Kappa Tau brethren have met to debate the issues of the day and to elect leaders.
