Good to Great Retreats
A Good to Great retreat will allow chapters/colonies to focus on areas of improvement which will allow opportunities for the greatest level of change.

Offered throughout the year and scheduled at a chapter/colony’s request, Good to Great Retreats are customizable retreats that are delivered at the local level to best meet the needs of the specific chapter/colony. Chapters and colonies now have the opportunity to select from different focus areas and work with the Executive Offices staff to create a unique retreat just for your brothers.

You may select from the following focus areas:

  • Recruitment
  • Character Development
  • Risk Management
  • Ritual/Values
  • Leadership Development
  • Officer Training
  • An “other” option is also included if your chapter needs to focus on an area not listed above.

These retreats are presented by a certified facilitator and are free of charge for the chapter. Requirements include:

  • AT LEAST one BOG member present for the entire program.
  • Retreats must be requested for at least 4 weeks prior.

Contact Associate Director of Education & Wellness Jess Schauble with specific questions about the retreats.

The Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity maintains a list of professionals, volunteers and alumni interested in facilitating an educational program. Interested individuals should complete the facilitator interest form for consideration in upcoming Men of Character programs.
